    Ovie wasn't the problem.

Holtby should have been pulled after game four. Two soft goals given away, one yesterday and two tonight.

    Who didn't see this coming.

As soon as they lost game 4, I felt that this choke was a formality.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Kind of like the Maple Leafs right now. Holy crap, they had this game until right now. They just gave up two goals in 31 seconds in the last two minutes of the game.

The Leafs/Bruins game is why I said it's not over. Caps certainly have the firepower.

Boudreau=all offense. Hunter=all defense. Oates=50/50. Caps in playoffs=same old shit.

Clearly, you don't see that angry monkey on our backs.

The better football comparison, IMO, is the Falcons.

    Yup Craps = Falcons ...

Although I feel like the Craps are whatever team Tony Gonzalez is on. Pre-Ryan Falcons actually won some playoff games that they shouldn't have (@ GB to break the home playoff streak, @ Minn for the NFCC). When have the Caps ever beat someone they shouldn't of? Even in 98, they were the #4 seed and beat #5, #8, & #6 on their way to the championship.

We all know the Rangers aren't exactly the most clutch of teams in the playoffs either, though.
