Re: Aaron Hernandez Murder Investigation (Merged)

As a rule I don't stay anywhere when cops are around. I've never been to jail and have lived a life that avoids crime and dishonesty, but I do have a history with police that is unpleasant. I go out of my way to avoid people that only bring me misery. No offense meant, but I will never trust the police based off of several bad incidents. There are good honest police, but if I avoid all of them I will also avoid being lied to and bullied by them. It's not my idea of a good time.

More and more details are coming out and it will be interesting to see how this goes. Apparently he has had several incidents involving guns and night clubs/bars in the past. While that doesn't make him guilty, the investigation will clearly involve him and his friends.

I am very curious about what happened in Florida.

Depending on the jurisdiction, he may have had a legal obligation to report the shooting, intentional or not.

pretty liberal gun laws down there... hell you can't go into a Chili's without seeing half the people with a gun on their belt. But I would expect a shooting should be reported, even if accidental.

That incident seems very strange since it occurred in February at Tootsies strip club. The guy got shot in the face, lost his eye and needed facial reconstruction surgeries.

This is getting huge with copters following him around. The Pats message board is going to have a melt down.

Lawsuit Alleges Aaron Hernandez Shot Man In Florida
NFL.com also obtained an offense report from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office that appears to be related to the day in question. That day, shortly after 6:45 a.m., a man identified by deputies as Bradley Alexander Sherrod, 30, of Hartford, Conn., was found on the ground close to a John Deere landscaping business near Riviera Beach.

He appeared to be shot in the head and the hand, the report stated. The man repeatedly said at the time he did not know who shot him, the report said, but the wounds were not self-inflicted.

The man wasn't cooperative, and told one investigator he didn't want the case to go any further.
