Re: Dierdorf at it again..
Triplette sounded like he had chugged a few hot toddies in the locker room before the game.

Re: Dierdorf at it again..
They were equally inept so it doesn't really matter. It's almost like they were just going through the motions of calling a game. I watched the Lions/Bucs game and the end of the Packers/Vikings games after ours. The announcers had so much more energy. Billick has become very good at doing color for the games.

Re: Dierdorf at it again..
Somebody help me out.
I SWEAR I heard one of those knuckleheads call the Jets the "Giants", and if I'm not mistiaken (and I did a triple double take when I heard this), one of those asshole announcers called it the "Natural Football League"!!!:eeek:

Re: Dierdorf at it again..
He also gushed over Flacco for much of the game, even calling some of his incomplete throws, passes nobody else could make despite them being uncaught. I dont really care for the cheerleader aspect in him, but i dont see it as a Ravens bias at all.

Re: Dierdorf at it again..
This.
I get that people don't like Dierdorf...but because he's biased against the Ravens can't be one of them.
He's been extremely complimentary of the Ravens the last few seasons. Flacco's even earned the "Joe" identification that is only given to the QB elites ("Tom", "Ben", etc.)
