Got a short and sweet answer from the dude I emailed....check my earlier post in this thread to see what I sent him.

    His reply:

I've notified our editors, who are the ones who compiled that chart.
    Thanks,

Bouchette is a terrific reporter... probably the best of the local Pittsburgh guys, and we enjoy pretty good sports journalism in these parts. I'm sure it was just an oversight, not some shot at Baltimore. And his response to your "reminder," Crow, given your closing sentence, was quite professional.

Just to be fair Ian, I would have said something similar even if it was a Baltimore reporter.

He may be a good reporter, I don't doubt it. But, he left it up to his editors to fact check...which I suppose a lot of reporters do. He then passed the buck onto his editors for blame. He should have, and all reporters should, check their facts prior to letting the story be printed or published.

I thought it was funny that I supplied a link from his very own newspaper with the 4th shutout story.
I just thought I'd be my normal smart ass self because of that fact....just ask my wife.

One more thing Ian, you ever drank Iron City Beer? That stuff is putrid.
Not just because it's a PA beer.

I like yuengling beer, they make some really fine tasting ones.

Nah, not much of a drinker. I find that the general sentiment around here is the same, though: Iron City is swill, Yeungling is pretty good.

Yuengling is excellent. I think that's brewed in Pottsville, PA. How far is that from Pitt?

In fact, isn't even Natty Boh brewed in PA these days?

Pottsville is near Allentown...kindof between Philly and Harrisburg. Can't help you on the Natty Boh thing.

    Three or four hours.

Haven't the foggiest. Rolling Rock just left Latrobe, I do believe, for New Jersey.

According to Wikipedia, Boh is now distributed by the Pabst Brewing Company out of North Carolina.
