Re: Ravens #5 in Preseason Power Rankings
Special teams was supposedly a big focus this off season, at least in all the press releases. Isn't that what the Sean Considine, Corey Graham & arguably the Jacoby Jones signings were all about? I think ST will be less of an issue than PFT. That's the sort of team shortcoming that Harbaugh fixes in the off. It might even be a strength this season, although I really don't know what to expect from Billy Cundiff.
"A lot" is a two word expression denoting a great deal or greatly, as in "I like sunshine a lot." "Alot" is a lovable imaginary grammar monster. You can love a lot; you can love an alot; you can love alots a lot; but they are not the same thing.

Re: Ravens #5 in Preseason Power Rankings
When they were down to 6 teams I wrote down my 6 in order and had
6. Pittsburgh (where PFT put them)
5 NY Giants (Over rated even here I think).
4 Baltimore (PFT had us 5th)
3 SF (Mostly because of an easy division)
2 New England (easiest schedule of anyone this year I think)
1 Packers (Aaron Rodgers... I think he could match last year)
As for special teams. I really think the abbreviated camp schedule last year hurt some teams and the Ravens cover and return teams especially. They should be better this year with the additions.

Re: Ravens #5 in Preseason Power Rankings
I think I'd drop us a tad because of the Suggsy injury and loss of Pagano.
You don't usually lose the DPOY and a D-Coord and not skip a beat.
I'd like to think the Flacco, the WRs, TEs and RBs will be solid and continue to improve from last year, but OL is a concern right now, for me.
I think a 10-14 range is probably more appropriate.
But what the hell do I know?

BC's sister-in-law continues to get no respect because her stats have been so-so. That's why most pundits refuse to rank her as an "elite" sister-in-law. But maybe this will be the year she puts it all together and joins the ranks of the moderate-term employed. It'd really help her in contract negotiations. But if not, maybe she can blame it on Cam?

Re: Ravens #5 in Preseason Power Rankings
I understand your concern, but don't forget about the quality of other players we have on our roster right now. I'd say between 10-14 would be way too low for us, considering how superior in talent our roster is to the majority of the NFL, even without Suggs.
