At least CK was honest what he was protesting and his reasoning behind it. These players are protesting the flag and our anthem then telling us it has nothing to do with the flag or our anthem.

Does this make sense to you? Me neither.

CK lost me when he started praising Castro. Try moving to Cuba and see how much protesting your allowed to do there.

if they aren't protesting the flag/anthem, then why are they protesting the flag/anthem?

I would say that from the Ravens at least it was pretty clear they were protesting the president saying not so nice things about the other players and suggesting they should be fired over political speech.

They're not anymore than Baltimore sports fans are protesting the anthem by shouting 'O'

    This is semantics.

Fans yelling "Oh" isn't the same as players kneeling in protest. It's an absurd comparison.

I don't even get the point of making this case. I guess it means that if Orioles fans yell "Oh"...its just as disrespectful as NFL players kneeling in protest? Is that it? If so...that's hilarious/ridiculous.

Literally detracting from something is less disrespectful than peacefully kneeling. Right.

Yelling "Oh" is detracting? What about clapping before the song is officially over? Is that detracting?

Well, I will say this about the anthem protests. So much positive change has happened as a result. Great work everyone! They certainly are making a difference.
