The resolution of Tomlin's Sideline-gate
Steelers announced, surprise surprise, Steelers will NOT be docked a draft pick...
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...line-incident/
Of course. Tomlin remains on that committee that decides the rules of the game (the same rules he clearly broke) and the Steelers get a slap on the wrist for it.
Of course..

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Re: The resolution of Tomlin's Sideline-gate
To be fair though, they did point out the irony of the Steelers missing the playoffs due to the NFL missing a penalty on a FG in the Chargers-Chiefs game.
Ok, fine. Moving on..

Not surprised. I always thought that, given the way the original announcement was worded, there would be no penalty unless the score somehow matter for the playoffs.

Indeed, not surprising. The total silence from the league on this subject (after their initial statement and levy of the fine) should've been a clue.
I'm past it. Neither the Steelers nor the Ravens made the postseason. Time to move on.

Well said Hot. The football gods, just like the NFL draft, tries to even out the field... Bc

If they did take a late draft pick away from the Steelers I wonder what the NFL would then have to do to the Colts for Irsay?
