Re: Bringing back Stokely
God.... is there some team somewhere desperate for a Left Tackle that has a backup center that is better than our centers? Please help us!

Re: Bringing back Stokely
See, I floated Jah Reid, and a bunch of people were like "nah, you are CRAZY, Jah isn't getting cut"...
Actually, I'd put my odds as:
2-1 Bajema (He'd be brought back later, don't really need him until game time)
10-3 Reid (Constant inactive)
5-1 McKinnie (If we can't get trade value for him...is Reid any worse than McKinnie?).

Re: Bringing back Stokely
How long do they have before they have to make the roster move? 24 hours?

Re: Bringing back Stokely
It'd have to be basically within the same league day I think. Harbaugh played it cool in his PC, said he'd have to see how it shakes out with Stokely's situation. Maybe not a done deal.

I can understand the move to bring him back, he's been a chain mover and we need weapons.
What's McClain's situation? anyone know

Re: Bringing back Stokely
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Bringing back Stokely
Stokely should stay on the team. Strong showing by Doss and Thompson last game, but I don't know if those guys are capable of making adjustments on the fly against more complex secondaries the way a wily vet like Stokes would. They need to continue to prove performance.
