It's not Pees at all. The only way we get pressure is by blitzing. When Cincy picks it up, they're going to get 10+ yards every time

I don't think either is playing that poorly tonight. We have no way of getting to Dalton without blitzing. If we don't blitz, our CBs have to cover much longer than they should.

To blitz effectively, you need DBs who can cover one on one. Apart from Webb, not sure we have that...

Also not hearing Dalton taking ALL day to find his guy. Most of the passes on that drive were 3 step drop and throws. That's not something a blitz can neutralize.

This not your father's defense. Kruger is not a factor. Cody and Ngata are being handle up front. Reed has not made a play in the game. Dalton is getting rid of the ball quickly nullifying a pass rush. Yet, the Bengals are able to run the ball also.
