    Re: Saints Player Suspensions Announced

I can't find the thread, but if you look for the thread that came out when ESPN first reported it, several people posted videos.

Does it matter if they succedded in injury players and racking up illegal hits penaltys? NO, fact is it was the intention, whether or not they were successful, and there is clear evidence of said intention, we all heard it... Doesnt matter if they actually done it, they tried, thats the crime...

Your interpretation could be extended to attempted murder... no crime committed here because the person isnt dead....

    Double that :word
Everybody's talkin' at me; I don't hear a word they're saying; Only the echoes of my mind

I'm going where the sun keeps shining; Thru' the pouring rain; Going where the weather suits my clothes

Banking off of the North East winds; Sailing on a summer breeze; And skipping over the ocean like a stone

I remember that when Will Smith put his knee into Flacco's helmet. From that angle it definitely looks purposeful.

Again, if they did not do illegal hits, what are they punishing? I could just as easily say that YOUR interpration of their intentions to do illegal hits is skewed.
Every team is looking to 'take a player out'. Do you always interpret that as doing it illegally?

I was about to make the same comment. Will Smith was still engaged with a blocker when Flacco initially hit the ground. That was beyond a late hit. He went out of his way to land on Flacco, there was plenty of space there for him to take his dive elsewhere.

Boldin was quite ticked after that play to. I wish there was video that showed what happened down field.

Did they have a bounty system and then lie and cover it up?

This shows your interpretation is being skewed.
