Seems we either get the Bengals or Steelers. Past couple of years The NFL trys to schedule a common opponent for the opener.

That's one of the probable five prime time games.

Giants at Ravens for Week 16?

Giants at Ravens Week 16 u gotta be kidding me

Some producer of a radio station - pinch of salt at the ready.
Giants-Ravens that late in the season? Hmmm... if it's true and if the MNF Cincy matchup for opening night is correct, you can guaran-damn-tee that our week 17 game is against the Steelers.

That thought also crossed my mind.

    Apparently:

Steelers at Broncos on SNF Week 1. Steelers at Giants Week 9.

Not surprising at all.. The league was drooling at that that minute Peyton signed the contract in Denver

    Other games: Bears/Colts, Niners/Packers for week 1.

Bears at Packers will be first Thursday night game.

According to This Site you are correct.

I find it odd that the Superbowl Champs only get 1 home prime time game though.

My understanding is that the opener will be on Wednesday this year because the president is scheduled to give a prime time speech at the Democrat Convention on Thursday night.

I think he meant week 2 which would be the first Thursday night game.

Yup. Dallas go to NYG for the opener which was announced about 3 weeks ago.

Bears' primetime: Bears Wk1: home vs IND, Wk2: Thursday night @ GB, Wk4: MNF @ DAL, Wk7: MNF home vs DET, Wk10: SNF home vs. HOU, Wk11: MNF @ SF
    5 for them.

    Nothing else yet on Bmore

Sources confirm the Ravens will play NE at M&T on Sun night 9/23 and at Pittsburgh on Sunday night on 11/18. Both games on NBC.

I don't see the league giving us the Giants in prime time.

Other than a Super Bowl over a decade ago, there is no history / rivalry. There is also the markets to consider as well it would be an out of conference match up.

    But stranger things have happened.
