    Worst case scenario

We're picking at 1 who are you drafting? Do you take a QB? I know it's probably unlikely we lose the rest of our games but for arguments sake... who would you draft?

You take Saquon Barkley. Ravens and Joe are tied at the hip for better or worse for the next two years. If they lose every game they get a new HC with an offensive background. Look at what McVay is doing with the Rams.

Not going to happen but I'd also take Barkley. My gut tells me he's going to the Browns

I would take Barkley or see if I could pull a sweet deal from someone that wants the top pick. Whatever you feel about Flacco, reality is they can't part ways for a couple years, so you need to put pieces around him to give the team a chance to win. The following year or two years? I'd look at QB then.

Worst case is we get to 8-8 and Harbs gets another pass

    Re: Worst case scenario

See, I'm not looking at drafting 1 being worst case scenario. That clearly would set up a reboot and give the Ravens good capital to start. I'm looking at drafting like 11, meaning no real shot at the playoffs and not in a position to get the elite of the elite.
Given the scenario I take a QB.
For those interested in Barkley, I would suggest trading down and then taking him.

So true, I don't there enough wins for a PO appearance, or hell even a winning season, but Harbs might be able to wring out enough to stay.

I would not take another QB under this current regime of coaches.

Could say the same about any D pick too, why let any of these coaches waste a young man's career on either side of the ball.

we need to make some serious changes from Ozzie all the way to Harb and his crew and then Joe.

Someone on offense who starts Day 1 and is a dynamic playmaker... Not *perrimen* hes a round 1 playmaker....

    a real nfl playmaker...

Barkley seems like the answer to me.

I wouldnt draft a QB. He's not going to be a gamechanger right away

Trade down to where you can still get a good O-lineman in Round 1, and pick a RB with one of the Day 2 picks we get in the deal.
