And HBO's Choice for "Hard Knocks" is ...

    The Miami Dolphins ....

    Per USA Today ....

It will be the first time Knocks follows a team with a first-year coach -- in this case, Joe Philbin. The five-episode series, which will be produced by a 24-person NFL Films crews, debuts Aug. 7.

The title of this thread should be "The first team to say YES to Hard Knocks is...".

The Jags wanted to be selected but they got passed over
    HBO didn't want them

Might be the worst choice possible, but maybe the only one.

I can't think of one compelling storyline out of Miami with their roster full of no names.

I was hoping for another NYJ version. That would have been awesome to see that train wreck with Sanchez and Timmy Tebow.

I'll still watch this one though. It's always interesting to see behind the scenes regardless of what team it is.

    Agreed.

It's great TV no matter the team.

So true. They were what, the 15th team they asked?

That's who they wanted but the Jets were smart enough to turn it down.

Only five episodes this time around. Perhaps HBO should let this thing go, although it is pretty good television.
