How long until Apoclyptic Glenn "retires"
If this isn't a precurser to his end, I don't what could say it better;

46 sponsors now pulling ads. Finally a ceiling has been reached on right wing outlandary.
There is a certain pathos to this man and if he really had alcohol problems, one hopes he can find some peace but you simply can't go around calling the President a racist when your audience is already ginned up and easily influenced. Just because someone quits drinking doesn't mean they are healed. His behaviors are a bit more understandable now but it is about time the soapbox is taken away.Last edited by Galen Sevinne; 08-28-2009 at 07:56 AM.

Re: How long until Apoclyptic Glenn "retires"
I can stand O'Reilly but refuse to watch Beck. He likes to stir the pot to much. Not enough actual journalist and too much opinionated BS.
Funny my Colonel and I were talking about Beck the other day. Now understand my colonel is a life long die hard Rep. He said people like Beck do more harm than good for not just the RNC but the national as a whole. They dont add anything to the discussion just overtly criticize without adding their own ideas. Just long rants using general terminology like American, Liberal Socialist. He went on to say that Americans are stupid (we already knew this lol). Anyone can make a impassionate speech, but he said try read a transcript of Beck's show. He said it wouldn't make any sense.Master of 'Gifs for dummies'

This civilian defense force has been long in the making. It began with contracting some DoD functions out to civilians during the Clinton years. W really up the ante and contracted about 30% out. W also had Army and Marine units being trained to police civilian populations.
Now Obama is continuing the "tradition".Master of 'Gifs for dummies'

Re: How long until Apoclyptic Glenn "retires"
14 hour night shifts, yea!
I dont watch Glenn because like I said before its not investigate journalism. Same reason why I dont watch or listen to Rush, O'Reilly, Chris Matthews or Olberman.
Too much opinions, not enough facts. Not that opinions are bad. But bashing from both sides, just to bash. Rants that only intent are to criticize not encourage discussion and thought, i.e. the sharing of ideas. Thats what made this country great. Not talking points such as "liberals are the enemy" or "the RNC have no integrity". It's all noise and the turth gets lost in the middle. Progress becomes a stand still.Master of 'Gifs for dummies'

Re: How long until Apoclyptic Glenn "retires"
Since I have never quoted Olberman on this board which is unlike all of the rest who quote Beck, Rush, Trannie C, Malkin and the rest of the multi-millionaire "patriots", I thought it was about time since he so adeptly dismantled Mr. Apocalypse himself. Scrolled down and watch the vid for a good laugh. This is the show that is receiving the highest rankings for the conservative mind. Seriously, I joke you not;

Re: How long until Apoclyptic Glenn "retires"
He is wild and overly boisterous and definitely screwed up and tried to play it off.....but is he wrong? I don't watch him but have seen certain segments of his show and what he reports is backed up with video evidence.
One thing I found amusing was that Olbertard brought up Nixon and Reagan's "czars" but they actually had a job...what do 0bama's do? Van Jones is a self-professed Communist and disguises redistribution of wealth under the auspices of "environmental reform". Oh, and he hates white people because they are "poisoning inner cities". This guy is a real winner, huh?
Oh, and lets not forget about "Science czar" John Holdren, the wackiest of the wacky czars who wrote, and I quote: "Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.”
....and....
It is often argued that the right to have children is so personal that the government should not regulate it. In an ideal society, no doubt the state should leave family size and composition solely to the desires of the parents. In today’s world, however, the number of children in a family is a matter of profound public concern. The law regulates other highly personal matters. For example, no one may lawfully have more than one spouse at a time. Why should the law not be able to prevent a person from having more than two children?”
Thats a direct line from his pen....imagine if Bush had someone like him on his team? The MSM would go banana's, yet its "crickets" because he's part of team 0bama
