    Final 2013 NFL postseason predictions

    AFC

    Wildcard: Ravens over Indy
    Texans over Bengals
    Divisional: Broncos over Ravens
    Patriots over Texans
    Championship: Patriots over Broncos

    NFC

    Wildcard: Packers over Vikings
    Seahawks over Redskins
    Divisional: Falcons over Seahawks
    Packers over Forty-Niners
    Championship: Falcons over Packers

Super Bowl XLVII: Patriots over Falcons

COMMENTS: I am still optimistic about the Ravens' chances in advancing in the playoffs. They remind me of the Giants of last year (written off in December; postseason longshot based on poor stats; but getting healthy at the right time). Their key players are getting healthier - but are they sufficiently recovered? Their biggest challenge would be winning in Denver. If they get past the Broncos, 5280 feet upward, then look out.

I have the Patriots beating the Broncos because I believe Denvers' current long winning streak will be their undoing. In the NFC, Seattle really looks strong but their inexperienced QB is the problem. Atlanta is much too strong at home - with something to prove in the postseason (QB criticized).

    Next up.

AFC Championship- Baltimore at New England.

    NFC Championship-Seattle at Green Bay.

    SuperBowl- Baltimore vs Seattle.

    Champions? Baltimore.

MVP- Ray gets it as the emotional pick, but we will only go as far as J5 and Little Ray Ray can take us.

It would be shocking to see the Falcons in the NFC championship game. Seattle is now the NFC darling child.

Patriots won't survive on the road.

I want to see Baltimore-Seattle,but expect to see Seattle-Denver.

I can honestly see the Texans losing to the Benglas, The other Texas QB is also struggling and Cincy's pass rush will only make it worse.

I still wan't to see a Harbowl but the Seahawks look unstoppable in the NFC.

If the Ravens can beat the Broncos on the road at Mile High (assuming we get that far), there is no NFC team that will beat us in the Superbowl...NO ONE. I think we could beat the Patriots but Broncos will have me curling up in a fetal position.

For the record, I hope it is ANY other AFC team that makes it to the SB other than the Patriots if it's not us.

Honestly, I can see all of the wild card games going either way. In the NFC I can't see the Redskins or Vikings making to the Super Bowl, but anythings possible. They're certainly capable of winning a game or two. In the AFC I feel like a Broncos-Patriots Championship game is highly likely. They seem to be a cut above the other AFC teams, so I think they'll be tough to beat at home in the divisional round.

While I could see some fans and media grumble in this scenario about how he "can't win the big one anymore," I think most would recognize that getting to consecutive Super Bowls only adds to Belichick's legacy. That would be 6 Super Bowl appearances in 12 years.

There was a lot of bitching about Marv Levy getting into the Hall of Fame after going to 4 straight Super Bowls. Belechick's legacy is safe but I don't think he'll automatically be on the top of the best coach in NFL lists like he's been the past decade.

A lot of people think that the Ravens can't beat Denver or New England on the road, huh?

Denver I completely understand, New England, though, I don't think it should be a forgone conclusion that they can't win there.
