    Santorum is out

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/...gn_636859.html

My speculation is a lot has to do with his daughters health, in addition to poor polling in Pennsylvania and he doesn't want to piss off the party for 2016/ Romney and getting a spot in his potential administration.

Meanwhile, OBYs camp can't wait to use the Buffett Rule vs Romney. As my tax man
just said, my income went down a little this year but I don't blame the rich for that.
I blame OBY who didn't extend the tax cut I got.

As a result I took a $68 pr mo decrease in salary but the silver lining in that was
I get a refund this year instead of paying out like last year.

That will fall on deaf ears.

I guess, haha, I just think the guy is in the wrong business.

I mean, you don't say things that insinuate that rape-pregnancies are a gift from God and expect to last too long in the political arena.

Actually in the conservative political arena that type of misogynist thinking gets you fairly deep into the primaries, second place finish and around a dozen states.

    Re: Santorum is out

Santorum lasted longer than anyone thought he would. Most guys are praising him for
running a tough campaign. he only had one constituency and milked it for all he could
get and was the top runner next to Mitt. Mitt was plenty worried when he won Michigan
but didn't really win it because it wasn't a winner take all. He only had a few more
delegates than Sant. Same with Ohio. Then Sant won the heartland and and the deep
south and Mitt was plenty worried about that time. He was ahead in delegates but
    only by 200 or so.

Believe me, that was a big sigh of relief you heard from Mitt. Even Karl Rove who dug
up all the dirt on all the campaigners opposing Mitt praised Santorum and liked what
    he said when he withdrew.

Just a week ago Rove was worried about a brokered convention. Now they can get Mitt
out there early and attack OBY on the economy. That's how he got those delegates,
sticking to the economic issues and let the conservatives fall where they will fall.
Of course, that just got him the nomination but not necessarily the election if 7-30M
Christians stay home again like they did with McCain, another liberal.

Santorum's big mistake was sticking to the social issues too much to woo the conservatives
and he let the media suck him into a debate. On contraceptives, he should have said, what
do I know about them, I have 7 kids. then he should have moved on to the economy but
    he didn't.

Still, he out-lasted all those others candidates and should be proud. If Mitt loses and the
election will be so close he might, Santorum will be back.

I guess maybe I should say those types of statements SHOULDNT allow you to last too long in the political arena.

What's wrong? Didn't you guys get your gov't handouts today?

Next time Galen cherry picks - pull this vid up for extreme. It's not recent
    either. OBYs the one who's
getting desperate with his OBUMMER CARE about to get voted down by SC. He's
making all these outrageous statements fueling the fire in the Martin case.
How about threatening the SC even calling them names like "unelected judges"
while making a play to steal their judicial power from them to transfer it to
    the White HOuse.
