The same feelings I had. As defense heavy went last year, this has to be offense at least 66% of the 1st three rds.

    :word

I'm really hoping to just flat out see offensive linemen, receivers and maybe a back up QB and RB later in the draft.

I think folks are right though...unless someone huge drops to us they will probably trade down.

Going to be watching Towson vs. NDSU on Sat, if work schedule allows. Wanting to see #77 on NDSU. He's an OT named Billy Turner. Looked pretty interesting in the previous couple of NDSU games I've seen.

He'll be at the Senior bowl too.

He's basically Tavon Austin without all the hype. He would be a fantastic pick in the middle rounds to replace Jacoby Jones as a RS and play the Darren Sproles "gadget" type role. He's usually listed as a WR which is interesting since he played RB pretty exclusively in college, but he does have extremely soft hands and runs good routes.

we would need an OC that knows how to use a gadget player.

I'm pretty intrigued by Archer and Jalen Saunders in the middle rounds.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Jalen Saunders gets up on DB's quick, that 40 something yard TD didnt even feel like his top gear but he seemed to separate in the a blink of a eye. He's got some wiggle and some toughness to him too tho. Im really intrigued by him as well. We could really use a quick twitch slot. Still want a outside receiver in the first 2 rd's but i'd possibly look at double dipping if i could get Sanders in the 4th. Bruce Ellington could be that kind of guy as well.
