ATM Skimming
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...=cybersecurity
I just wanted to put this out for everyone because we all use ATMs at one point or another. Just be alert that skimming devices are cheap, easy to use, and effective for cyber criminals.
Here is a good article from Krebs on ATM skimming:

Re: ATM Skimming
Skimming is the reason I pay for meals with cash.
Think about what you do every time you go to a restaurant. You hand something over to a complete stranger that gives them 100% access to your bank account.
Never again.

Re: ATM Skimming
Me too.
It is incredibly prevalent in Central and South America where regulations are a bit more oblivious. Some of the activity has been linked to cartels and I think I read something recently stating that 1 out of every 5 or 6 ATMs in resort areas in Mexico likely have ATM skimming devices on them.
They're easy to spot if you know what to look for.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.
