The Spending Bill that Nobody Will Read
So much for campaign promises. Only took Obama about to month to pretty much break them all.
The final touches on the spending bill were finished last night. Coming in a pultry 1,419 pages, the Dems in Congress are about to pass this pig.
But keep in mind the size. There is not a chance in hell that any lawmaker who votes in favor has ever read the bill.
If they claim suchand they keep the vote time as scheduled, they would have had to read at a pace of 2.63 pages a minute without taking one break. They would have had to start reading at around 11:45 last night and keep reading right up to the time the gavel hits the desk.
Then we read in the Politico today that the Obama's own folks are now admitting the job creation numbers the President is promising and what may actually happen are worlds apart.
So much for the campaign promise of 48 hour review before voting on any bill.

Re: The Spending Bill that Nobody Will Read
broke them all...no melodramtic exaggeration in that comment...
Except that maybe since this bill has been written and revised a dozen times in the past two weeks, congress has been reading it in its entirety for a couple weeks now??? maybe??? the entire thing wasn't just written yesterday there champ. Of course you need a be a good soldier and keep pushing those talking points from the NRO corner. Don't be afraid to think though too!
