10 things every Ravens fan should do at least once in there lifetime.

    10. Go to training camp
    9. Attend the draft or host a day one draft party
    8. Tailgate- get there early and stay late after the game.
    7. Get a tour of the Complex @ 1 Winning Drive.
    6. Go to an away game wearing colors.
    5. Go to one of the players public appearances and meet them.
    4. Watch an away game at your favorite bar packed with purple clad folks.
    3. Buy a authentic game jersey of your favorite player.
    2. Attend a home playoff game and see a win.
    1. Go to a Ravens Super Bowl game

    Nice list.

I have done about 5 of the 10.

Great list. I've done them all, most of them each season. You can't beat the festive purple atmosphere in the Baltimore area every Fall. Many other areas with NFL teams are rather bland: SF, Charlotte, Tampa, DC, Seattle for example.

One change to the list I would make:

I don't see the thrill. "Authentic" = Fashion statement? Unless you are up close, there's no difference between authentic, replica, and Walmart. And the players come & go.

I still occasionally wear my Boulware, and my wife wears her Shannon Sharpe Super Bowl jersey, but I doubt that I'd spend the money on new players. Purple tee-shirts are fine by me.

As to apparel, I'd rather see Ravens fans with purple painted faces, purple & black beads & chains, and camos. And, for the ladies': purple feathers in or on their hair, and purple sports bras.

9 out of 10 for me. Still need the superbowl to complete the list. You could replace the "buy an authentic jersey" with attend an away game at all 3 of our division rivals.

Upon reflection maybe I should have made #3 wear your purple jersey everywhere on gameday no matter what time they play or where they are.

OK, so I'm currently 1 for 10 from this side of the pond (#8), but hopefully will be ticking off #6 in December. :D

OK, true dat, but what a tailgate party that was! I wonder if that Raiders fan still wants to fight because of the celery tossing Limeys?

Absolutely, that tailgate was awesome, not bad going for my only one thus far, most fun I've ever had a sporting event.

Still got the mental image of his fellow Raider fans pelting him with celery as he complained to us. :D

Seven of ten. I haven't been to training camp, haven't been to the Superbowl and haven't attended a home play-off game.

darb, take the easy one first. Drive out to Westminster, on the ride out you will see many cars with tags, stickers, flags, and folks wearing jerseys. Then once there the whole purple explosion. Then seeing the team for the first time that year. It is the closest to Christmas morning that any adult has the right to feel. It is so awsome seeing how many other Raven maniacs there are and it just validates the passion that one feels for this team. I am getting chills just thinking about that first day at training camp.
