Bc - Truer words never spoken (or posted) my friend. I am also sorry for your loss - you never fully stop grieving for the loss of a parent. Just circle the wagons and be thankful for the loved ones surrounding you this very day. A very Happy Festivus to you!

Heard about this earlier, but had no idea it was this serious. I sure wish the guy well. It's been a rough week for the Steelers, injury setbacks for Ben and Pouncey, Clarks health issues, Mendenhalls ACL and now this news is just heart breaking.

This may be OT, but one of the wonderful parts of life is the generational continuance of family. My daughter (I only have the one) will always remember "gramma" holding her hand walking down the street with a big smile on her face. The mother of my wife, who is the mother of my child. I absolutely feel for your loss and wish you (and your family) the happiest of New Years (2012) and beyond... Bc

They mentioned this on SiriusNFL but only in passing, as though it was incidental. I had no idea it was this bad.

Horrible story; wish him the very best.

Many thanks Beau. I see mom everytime I look at my youngest (he was born 6 months after she passed). I took my little Blackbird to his first Ravens game this year.

Thanks BC. As you can see in my post Beau, I hear you loud and clear about the continuance of family. My youngest was born 6 months after mom passed and at least she knew about him. His birth got me (and my family) through a rough time.

Happy New Year to you too, my friend. GO RAVENS!
