He'll get his $100M with half guaranteed and the rest loaded with incentives.

It will probably be for 6 years and he'll out-live the contract and get all of it.

    From Peter King...

    Peter King ‏@SI_PeterKing
Flacco vs Eli, Peyton, Brady, Rivers, Romo this year: 6-1.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Pretty much. And they'd be dumb not to pay him.

How can you not pay him now? He put this team on his back and rolled them through the playoffs.

He has become what we all have wanted him to become.

In all 3 playoff games so far this year, Joe Flacco has put up QB ratings over 106 and won each one.

People really underestimated how much of an albatross Cam Cameron was around Flacco's neck.

The offense that Joe excels in is very similar to the offense that Peyton excelled in with Indianapolis. However, Joe's arm and the speed at WR allows him to be more effective deeper down the field, without the massive set-up that was twenty thousand slant passes to Marvin Harrison before the slant and go.
