Slightly OT but relavant - Leftwich Injury, and news?

So, anyone hear anything about Leftwich's injury and what it was or how severe it may be? This could hurt them more down the road.

Hard to see how it could hurt them more. He was absolutely awful last night.

Word is that he's headed to IR and the Steelers are bringing in QBs. Not confirmed yet though.

    Batch would likely start.

Thanks, i didn't hear any of that so far. It would hurt them more in the sense of losing your 1st and 2nd string QB is hard to overcome.

on SiriusNFL this morning they said he kinda pulled a rib area but it wasn't why he played poorly; for what it's worth. I still bet they give B-atch a try

A bit of an error there saying they could see Denis Dixon taking snaps... He's a Raven. But, I guess he's free to sing to their 53 man roster, right?

the beautiful karma of it all is that he hurt himself celebrating on a TD run. WOO HOO hope you're proud of yourself. Reminds me of the Redskin QB that banged his head a few years ago.

Yes, since he's on the Ravens practice squad they could sign him if he is placed on the 53-man roster.

He had to sing to their 53 man roster back in his rookie year. Part of the rookie hazing, y'know. Not sure what the song was, though...

    Sorry, sorry, just couldn't resist.

If B-atch isn't the answer, I'd imagine Croyle or Palko could be candidates given their history with Haley in KC.
The backup QM market ain't great right now.

When you think of it, Chicago is fortunate to have a guy like Campbell, and Detroit have Hill. Both are probably better than some starting QBs out there...

I think Kitna could probably run Haley's dink-n-dunk better than Leftwich.

Browns are very capable of beating Pitt next week, especially now. Also Mendenhall has a concussion and Ziggy left with a bad back.
