Keenan Lewis talks trash against Torrey Smith: "He's no Mike Wallace."

The Steelers never stop with the bulletin board material do they?

It's just banter coming from someone who is trying to stir the pot. Maybe Torrey isn't as fast in the 40 yard dash as Wallace, but honestly, who cares? Does that necessarily mean that he won't be able to get open?

That's not trash talk. He feels Smith is very fast, but not Wallace fast. No biggie there

I would like to hear the actual audio of this interview. A lot of times, when these types of "bulletin board quotes" are reported, a lot of context is missing. More often than not, the player does not just come out and say these things, but instead they are stated in answer to a specific question.

That may or may not be the case here. Don't know...

Yeah, I read this thinking there'd be all kinds of trash talk.

    This is VERY tame.

    Agreed, very tame.

But I hope Torrey runs past him for a TD Sunday night. That will shut him up.

He's right. Torrey has learned to catch the balls that hit him right in the hands.

I don't think Torrey plays quite as fast as Wallace. At least, not yet.

he's telling the truth, Torrey is fast, but wallace got a whole other gear that you just don't see often, the only other guy that may be able to even keep up with wallace is chris johnson from the titans. Won't catch Torrey in an open field, but wallace might be in the endzone waiting on Torrey to get there.

It gets worse, he went on to say Torrey is barely even Morley Safer

It's not as harsh at the days with Joey Porter, Hines Ward, etc. but I'm of the Ray Rice school of thought: don't talk shit, bring it on the field. That's something I love about this team, they rarely if ever talk shit, they just show up on Sundays and 8/10 times WIN. As for Torrey vs Wallace, I think Torrey is faster when the ball is in the air, he accelerates into the next gear, which is too bad because there are too many instances where he has to stop and look for the ball as opposed to being hit in stride.
