Re: Game Thread: Raiders @ Ravens

Get over it people. New England steps on opponents throats all the time, runs up the score and everything.

I've wanted an offense in Baltimore with this killer mentality for so long.

Guess just no pleasing some people.

Carson Palmer can still hang some points too. I know 48-17 is a large difference, but there have been greater come backs in the history of this league and the Ravens' D is VERY suspect over the top. Especially with a less than 50% Ed Reed.

The same people would be bitching that Harbs has no killer instinct in a close game.

:word I don't get that logic in pro sports. You take any points you can get. Look at New England. They have no problem racking up the points on teams if they can.

    Agreed.

We saw what happened last week in Cleveland when Cam goes into "ball control" mode for 2-3 quarters.

Especially, midway through the 3rd quarter. You don't leave any points on the field.

    Ed banged up his shoulder.

I don't think Ngata has played at all.

No new injuries. Ngata hasn't played a snap yet but he's still riding the bike.

Ed is sitting out with his old shoulder stinger.

Even when the defense has to keep everything in front of it, and are playing under no pressure because we're up by 31 points, it sucks to high heaven.
