Agreed, Torrey is a deep threat with long distance speed and can obviously sprint down field a lot faster than what Cruz can, while Cruz is more agile and has quicker feet, totally different receivers.

    Re: G-Men v. Stillers Thread

Wow....Stoolers were STUPID for trying that IMO. Get the tie and rely on your defense.

Wow, Tomlin wants to take the dumb coach decision of the day away from Shurmur.

WTF are you thinking there? Kick the FG and tie the game.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Don't know who you've been watching lol, their safeties are solid, but their corners really aren't great outside of Ike Taylor who's solid at best.

They are second in the league in pass defense...and it's not because Harrison and Woodley are racking up sacks.

No secondary is perfect, but the stats speak for themselves.

Eli Manning has been amazing...consistently amazing this year and he is completing less than half his passes and has 125 yards so far...deep into the 4th quarter.

And his OL has been pretty solid today, it's not like he has been under duress all game.
