Let's face it, we're road patsies and if you can't win on the road, you aren't going anywhere.

Re: Game Thread: Ravens infiltrate the Factory of Sadness - @ Browns
Uh...it hasn't been clicking since the first quarter.
I get the need to take deep shots, but Cam and John (I'm going to include him as he supposedly ok's the game plans) have such an unhealthy infatuation with "chunk" plays, it blows my mind.
The Al Davis "pound the ball and throw it over your head" offense is dead.
Concentrate on completions and first downs...FIRST DOWNS should be the goal of the offense now, not completing 40 yard bombs. No fucking wonder we lead the league in 3 and outs.Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

First down: Play-action: good idea. Low-percentage bomb? Not so much.
Second down: Shotgun draw that never works.
Third down: Good pocket, no one open since receivers can't get separation. My Ravens Blog: Brittany Rants About Football

I like taking deep shots but we need consistent 1st downs. What happened to crossing routes, slants, drags, curls, etc?
