Re: OT -- Storm Thread -- How's Everyone Doing?
Remember a few years ago one came through and I was without power for 10 days. Sucks when you're on septic and well water. I have a big ass generator so we did OK but I hope you guys don't experience the same. Stay safe

Man, these big ole trees are whipping around like mad, and this isn't the worst part of the storm. Praying that none hit the house.

Re: OT -- Storm Thread -- How's Everyone Doing?
We don't have issues with trees near the house, instead we have a brick front and apparently a few of the windows upstairs need recaulking because we are getting some water on the northwest side of the house, which is the front. The wind is just blowing the rain hard against that side and I am assuming the water is getting in around the windows where they meet the brick.
I should have recaulked them some time ago.

Re: OT -- Storm Thread -- How's Everyone Doing?
How's that old story go? No reason to fix a leaky roof when it's not raining because it's not leaking then. Can't fix it when it's raining because you'll get wet.

Hope all you guys and Eastcoasters stay safe and look out for each other. This would probably be a good time to look over those Raven games (good ones - I wouldn't watch the KC game right about now;)).Self appointed Ravens SuperFan in the southern hemisphere/New Zealand.
