Re: Time for Flacco to put the team on his back?
Simple litmus test... Would the Ravens be 5-1 without Joe Flacco?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for and why it is here it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarrely inexplicable…
There is another theory which states that this - has - already - happened…

Re: Time for Flacco to put the team on his back?
Can you name a QB who in the past 2 seasons, has had to throw into really tight windows as often as Flacco?
I know there are others who can do it as well as Joe, but have there been any since 2011 who've had to do it as much?

Nope, but try again.
Just saw it & was curious to how the Ravens fan base felt regarding Flacco & whether you guys felt he was in the elite category. I mean he has done a great job winning games, but his numbers are far from elite & he would be fighting for a top 10 QB in the NFL.

I agree. If they invest that kind of money this offseason it will be on the defensive side of the ball IMO. I could definitely see them re-upping with Boldin though. With JJ and Torrey on the outside, Boldin is a guy fits nicely in the slot and Joe obviously has trust in him. He should be pretty reasonable in terms of cap hit so looks like a good fit.

Re: Time for Flacco to put the team on his back?
I thought Boldin was still under contract next year? His cap hit is going to be far larger than his worth. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a cap casualty. The Ravens are not going to restructure his contract or give him an extension, imo.

Boldin's cap number for next year is 7.5 mil. He's got to be on the potential cap casualty list.
