So glad they went with the rook over the Vet. renewed some confidence in the coaching staff/Fo.
Absolutely he correct move, and that is at least 2 games we win this yer we would not have with Cundiff.

Love that kid.

Re: The Justin Tucker appreciation thread
Tucker is money. What I find interesting is that the Rams had the same situation and their rookie kicker has also been awesome. Kicking is different from every other position. Bringing a young kid in with a huge leg and even bigger attitude is not a bad thing.

Re: The Justin Tucker appreciation thread
Yeah and thank him for BARELY hitting the game winner against the pats so Skip Bayless could have some bullets the next day on first take.

Finally a kicker here has taken Matt Stover's place. Scoring all the points today and getting the win, reminded me of Matt in 2000.
I have total faith in Justin whenever he lines up.Master of 'Gifs for dummies'

I really like that he is willing to make a tackle. Not many kickers want to get into that.

Really?!? REALLY?! You've got to be fucking kidding me.
No. Fuck this. This kind of shit is just fucking... I don't even know the word in English but I'm sure there's a 9 syllable German word to describe just how terrible it is to complain about a kicker making a game winning kick in the final seconds against a team we've never beaten, but not making it in a pretty enough fashion.
I pray to all the gods that you're joking and I just got Colbert'ed.My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

Re: The Justin Tucker appreciation thread
Count me in. I was for Tucker when he made it
at the stadium practice. I knew he was the guy then and he won 2 games in pressure situations.
Film shows NE kick was in so it doesn't matter
how far or where. Just so it's in. Only NE fans
still bitch about it.
Billy Goat misses that kick and he's on thin ice with Shanny now. One more mishap and he's outta DC.
But Tuck's biggest contribution might have been the tackle. He did those sort of things at Texas too.
He's well coached.Last edited by AirFlacco; 10-07-2012 at 06:03 PM.
