I didn't realize they didn't allow it. That's totally absurd.

It's more of a microphone so he can hear the defensive calls but it was not approved. I get that the league doesn't have a competitive advantage but the man can't hearanywhere near as well as other players.

I don't think its that simple.

The man lost most of the hearing in his left ear which is basically losing one of his senses. He has a handicap that virtually every other team in the league doesn't have to deal with but he's expected to go out and perform as if he's fine. For the league to not grant him the waiver to wear what amounts to a hearing aid is criminal. It won't give him an advantage but could help him to have a fighting chance.

ehh. it is what it is and just because we feel bad that his hearing is gone doesn't mean it's going to come back. it sucks but it is what it is and that nor his performance are likely to change.

It says he wants to come back. I didn't see anything from the Ravens as to when they expect him back, or any other source. If I'm missing something please post a link but I don't see how this is anything but more opinion

Bit of caution. Albeit good news. Had Achilles tear myself and you feel completely 100 percent about 5 months out or so. But prefer he waits til the full 6months and start in November. He'll be more important in Nov/Dec/Jan... Why risk a setback. I've been their.

This may have nothing to do with his recovery time, but you've got to think that seeing his team @ 4 - 1 and looking like another playoff appearance, Suggs wants to contribute ASAP! It may not help him heal any faster, but it's got to motivate him to do as much as is humanly possible to recover and be in football shape... Bc
