Spacing given up, missed tackles, missed assignments. Just embarrassing. And you would think the corrections would show up.

The trend of breakdowns on defense each game is troubling. The KC defense is getting closer to the non-competitive stage.

Just got done with the coaching tape for the 1st half for Chargers-Chiefs: Game was essentially over 7 minutes after it started.
    Flacco might throw for 400.

No reason to think the Chiefs can win at home vs. the Ravens this week. You know it's bad when the Chiefs are really bad at home.

Don't know if this was posted already but Kevin Boss has been put on IR. Obviously they have Tony Moeaki but he's not playing well.

    Re: LOL.

The issue with KC has been turnovers and Cassell is personally responsible for 10. They have the worst TO ratio in the league. If they somehow find a way to reverse that for the Ravens game you could be looking at a different team.

I'm not trying to say they're great but their backs are against the wall and everyone is being scrutinized. This is their proverbial superbowl, or however you want to say it. I think it could be a tough game.

I'm just glad they didn't keep Kyle Orton

The Chiefs have been laying an egg since we beat them in the playoffs. That was two years ago, by the way.

Boss is a significant loss for them. Moeaki was slow coming out of Iowa, and is even slower now since his 2011 injury. If we can't neutralize him...

Also, Flowers sat out Weds after appearing to re-agg a PS injury. They'll need him vs. our WRs. Jalil Brown has good length, but if they don't let him press, his stiffness can be exploited just like his college teammate, Jimmy Smith.

Bowe had a groin strain but looks to be a go. We'll probably put Webb on him in 2WR sets, but he should be pressed as much as possible (if Pees wakes up). Getting off the line (moving laterally) is slower when your nursing a groin tweak.

Baldwin and Hillis both missed Weds practice.

    Chiefs' record since 2007:

    Away games 14-28
    Home games 14-28

Press coverage is only effective when complemented with an effective pass rush which we don't have right now unfortunately

Remember when we were going to Arrowhead was a fearsome prospect and Priest Holmes was in his prime?

Seems alike a long time ago.

I remember going to the MNF game in Baltimore against the Chiefs. That was the game where Ray was getting blocked and was supposedly "done" because he couldn't shed blocks.

    That was a decent pick.
