Flacco on pace for 5k yards, Torrey 1300 12TD

At the quarter pole, 5,078 to be exact.

    Price def going up.

And it is pretty clear we now have a number 1 wr who can do it all.

Don't think he'll get to 5K, but something in the 4500 range seems pretty likely.

Also on pace for 28 TDs and 12 INTs....very respectable, but I'd like to see him finish with a TD total of 30+.

The offense is really good...430+ yards again.

That is going to be top 2-3 after 4 weeks. Very, very good pace here.

Steady, slow rise the last few years almost exclusively built from the draft.

I figured a jump was coming but this is a giant leap so far.

No question, the offense has carried this team thus far into the season.

If Pees can work on this defense, and I have to believe they will get better, especially when Suggs returns, all will be o.k, and this team will resemble the complete machine that some expected it to be.

And the production was there tonight despite the O-line having a rough night, Flacco's subtle movement in the pocket and his decision making have really improved.

If we had a poorer offense than what we do, even slightly, I don't know if we'd be 3-1.

I knew this season probably would show some changing of the guard, but I had no idea just how drastic that change would be. Pleasantly though, this Flacco-led offense has been up to the challenge.

They have the personnel and potential to resemble the "Greatest Show on Turf."

Excited to see them continue to gel as the season progresses.

Also, in the last three games we've been pretty inconsistent yet we've still put up good numbers. If they can become consistent throughout the game, adding points throughout the game and finishing drives, this offense will be an elite one for a while. Still young overall too.

In terms of Flacco's contract, I feel that he would be getting big money either here or elsewhere based on his record and durability ($15-17 mil per year is my guess). IMO, I don't think that him putting up huge numbers will help the value of the contract that much (maybe $1 or $2 more per year, or more signing bonus money) but I think that him becoming the man of the offense and putting up the stats will speed up the contract and put Ozzie's and the fan bases mind more of at ease when we give him the big bucks. If he were putting up Aaron Rodgers/Tom Brady/Drew Brees numbers and still winning games, his $15-20 mil per year contract extension would have been finished a long time ago.

Flacco and the team are just at such a Mexican stand-off because Flacco wants to be paid based off his record and the fact that every successful team locks up QB's with success and the fact that the Ravens want to pay him based off of his stats.
