4 games in 18 days. I'll take an ugly win and like it.

Re: Game Thread -- Ravens v. Browns

The win was good enough, imo. Not exactly dominant, but they controlled the game. Given it was a very short week, I think they showed they aren't going to play down to the bad teams.

Weeden is not a bad QB. As has happened so often (P.Manning, Johnson), a rookie QB seems to learn the game just in time to play the Ravens. He impressed me, and the Browns have a better future ahead than their 0-4 record indicates.

Ugly win in the rain ...ill take it. Even with crap OL play and not much D Flacco had 356 yards and 2 scores.

You should be more concern about Cam and the defense

Yes, but a rookie QB like Weeden shouldn't throw like that on us. Yes, we know that their o-line is that good, but gimme a break.

This team always rises up against better competition. Why they can't just knuckle down and beat bad teams I'll never know.

But the pass rush is a serious, serious issue. As is the offensive inconsistency (as always)

My hope is, this is like the Jags game last year...except this time we won it.

Whatever. Every year the Ravens barely beat or even worse lose to an inferior team and every year they are in it until the end. Good teams find ways to win even when they are not at their best. The Ravens did that to night.

Dodge a bullet but I'll take it. The ravens were operating on fumes...4 games in 18 days...and a 3-1 record. I'll take it..We've got 11 days to prepare for KC

Ok. now that my blood pressure has hit the roof its going to be hard to decompress in a short time. Once again sleep will be a while in coming. Going to be a long day at work tomorrow. A W is a W--but being a Ravens fan is hard on the nerves.

I agree with you. To say this isn't a championship team is way premature. They are in a good position at 3-1, and they controlled this game even if they didn't dominate.

Good to see Cary Williams with a pick 6.
