The Ravens’ defense is looking to do better.They’ve given up 38 points in the first two games plus lots of yards andhaven’t been quite as effective yet as last year.
But when talking to the media on Wednesday,tackle Haloti Ngata may have summarized the defense’s situation in the bestway.
“It definitely is a work in progress,” Ngatasaid. “We have a lot of new faces in our front seven. We’re just trying to getused to each other. Once we continue to jell more, I think we’ll seem moredominant.”
Last year, the Ravens were near the top of theNFL in many defensive categories. But that hasn’t been the case so far thisseason. They’ve struggled at times in each of the first two games and arelooking to improve sooner rather than later.
