Player of the Game - 9/10 vs. Bengals

For me it's Joe Flacco. Great pre-snap reads, barking out line signals, checking into better plays and smooth, commanding execution. Looks like Joe has taken the next step. As several of my mates mentioned while we were watching the game in my buddy's sports bar, he reminded us of Peyton Manning.

    Any other thoughts anyone?

Has to be Flacco, and it's not even close.

Plenty of players had good/great games, but Flacco played the best, and he plays the most important position.

Definitely Flacco. He was putting balls on the money, in some tight windows at times. His command of the offense is definitely very Peyton-like.

It's a competition for second place.

Haloti Ngata, or maybe Michael Oher if you want to go offense.

His definitions and arguments were so clear in his own mind that he was unable to understand how any reasonable person could honestly differ with him.

If someone gives an answerother than Flacco for the #1 spot, I want whatever it is you're smoking.

Eh... not smoking anything, but I'll throw a bone out for Ed Reed. His pick-6 broke the Bengals' offense. No question that Flacco was over-the-top brilliant tonight... But ALL the air went out of the Bengals after that.

I'll say Flacco, with honorable mention to Reed.

Every QB makes throws like that in most every game. It's rare to not see that. The one were he kinda heaved it forward up for grabs was kinda stupid though.

Yep, Haloti is Ngata be denied. You'll see him in the backfield often IMO. And Yes Michael played a solid game tonight.

Obviously Joe, but Oher was a decent shout. Put it this way, anytime we don't hear his name all day, he would have done his part well
