    Marcus Lattimore

If anyone out there is thinking about how karma is out to get them, look at Marcus Lattimore. Torn ACL last year, coming back this year and yesterday, Volunteers D in one hit: Torn ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL, chipped kneecap, and broken FEMUR. Yes, FEMUR, the super strong bone in your upper thighs.

So, I don't have a lot of experience with injuries and their long term effects....but I'm guessing this could be career threatening. At the least, he's probably looking at a huge drop in draft stock (He can come back next year, but with that injury, my guess is he won't play much AND people might be scared off by the back to back injuries.)

Tough tough break. I won't post the video here...but it's about as gruesome as Theisman's injury.

I'd be shocked if he ever played football again. If he does it certainly won't be at the level he played at before.

It will take a LONG time for this to heal. They'll have to stabilize the femur before they even think about repairing all 4 ligaments

Apparently the initial reports were a bit inaccurate. It was a hyperextended knee with all 4 ligaments torn. Still a rough injury, but Spurrier thinks he may play in 2013-2014...

Really tough for him, he was going to be a high pick. Makes me think of McGahee and how he was drafted to sit out a year. He's still having a good career so maybe Latimore will too
