The Ravens OL had a terrible game IMO. Flacco was regularly pressured/sacked/ had passes batted down. I'll wait for Film Study's assessment, but I thought Bobbie Williams in particular looked horrible. He was beaten badly numerous times.

I dunno, I thought the O-line was pretty good. All those guys
breezing by Joe on the right and left and up the middle
and up his ass were JOe's fault. He held
on to the ball too long. He can't read blitzes. He can't read double coverage. He can't read single coverage. He can't hit receivers
when they can't get separation. CAM abandoned the run too
early - AGAIN!
Oher and KO are the best linemen in the universe. Birk is the
best aging Center that ever played.
Did someone say Bobby Williams? I thought that was Gary
Williams out there. They might as well try him. They tried
everyone else. He's Bisciotti's pal and couldn't do any worse.
He's old like Birk too.
Anyway, I'm not a doubter. No, not me. I'm with the OP.

Re: So, any OL doubters turning into believers now?
Biggest reason they lost today is right here. They need to end the Oher LT experiment. Reid is no better at LG than either guy before him. Osemele needs to be inside. Birk needs to retire. This is a unit that is flat out bad and will continue to be the offenses achilles heel. No one man ever is the reason a team loses a game but the Oher at LT experiment has basically cost us two games against our biggest rival. That is unacceptable. LT must be the primary focus in the draft, bad thing is they'll still be picking mid-late 20's, so doubtful they can get a really solid player there.

Re: So, any OL doubters turning into believers now?
Back in Sept I was optimistic about the O line, thinking Harewood would develop, B Williams would heal, etc. OK, I'm an idiot.
Look at this ragbag group:
C: Birk is a wonderful man; he deserves a rich and rewarding retirement. Immediately. But behind him we have no one remotely ready to step in.
LG: Apparently, Harewood was Moeller's ill-timed April Fools joke? Jah Reid? MAYBE he'll make it, but he has neither the physique nor the experience for the position.
RG: Yanda is top quality, (but he has begun to suffer some pretty frequent injuries)
RT: KO has potential, somewhere on the line, but is still learning to play at an NFL level. If he's better than Reid at RT, then Reid is a bit of a bust, no?
LT: Oher isn't good enough to be an LT on this team. Forget the short arms, guard build, etc. With Flacco's slow release and lack of pocket presence, we need a very good LT. Oher might be "pretty good," but he is not "very good."
And our depth? The young players we are developing? After Gino, who is there?

And most everyone agrees Gino isn't big enough for Center. He's no Gino the Giant-lol.
