Modell family - all class

Just returned home from M&T where the MODELL family held a receiving line to accept condolences from RAVENS fans. It was all class!

Hard to estimate the number of people, but an officer told me they were expecting 20K.

I went down there too. Took about an hour to get through the line. I would think 20K would be a reasonable estimate.

It was quite classy. Sinatra on the PA system. David and John Modell were there with David's wife (Michelle??) and they shook hands and hugged everyone. There was another lady at the far end of the casket - not sure who she was.

Yes! David hugged me as did that lady ..I assumed it was Art's sister? She told me "we lost a great man"... I thought it was a great showing of PURPLE!

Forgot to mench...the Lombardi was there next to the casket. It's never been cleaned. I thanked David Modell for the 'Trophy Tour' back in 2001 and he commented that my fingerprints are on there somewhere :)
