Garrard led the Jags to the playoffs a few years ago. I don't think we'd be fucked if he were the backup. Of course, Dixon or Taylor would be more affordable.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Garrard is a lot more similar to Flacco than TT or Dixon but then again so was Painter and the Ravens still didn't want him.

The only issue I have with Garrard is health. A month ago he got hurt playing with his kids and he's still not 100%. He missed all of last season as well. Will Garrard ever be healthy enough to play NFL football?

Plus Garrard would be expensive for a backup and the cap is already very tight. I feel for the guy, he can't catch a break healthwise. After week one I bet a team will pick him up if he can pass the physical. Arizona could use him ;)

Garrard would worry me. He's intelligent and a good passer, but like others have stated on here...he might not be able to handle a full season (even as a back up) anymore.

I always thought he was a good player too.
I think it's a matter of him not fitting the scheme. I think he would fit nicely with the Ravens. A good run stuffer in the middle, and can get some pressure.

    I agree. He is a good 5-technique DL'man.

Certainly someone to keep an eye on. Especially if something happens to Kemo or Tyson or Art.
