Re: Cuts from around the league the Ravens may be interested in:

Just was in the NFC east blog on ESPN's site and heard an unfounded rumor that the Ravens may be contacting Adrian Hamilton's agent and are close to terms. Can anybody confirm or deny this rumor? I put it out there because he was cut yesterday which means he may have cleared waivers already. It was the last post in that article and that was 3 hours ago.

    Browns just cut Seneca Wallace.

I'd love to have him in here as our #2.

    No cap room though

Surprised by that. He was one of the top rated MLB prospects coming out of Michigan State a year ago.
Wow, that's crazy. He was one of those guys linked to us here as a 3rd rounder. He slid a lot in the 2011 draft, but played decently as a rookie last year. Shocked he's cut.

So would I. Wallace is a gamer. He's a very smart QB and always gets the most out of his abilities. He'd be perfect for the Ravens

Eagles cut Marvin McNutt who is someone that many wanted the Ravens to draft.

Have you seen the issues our current group of DE/OLB have had when it comes to this so called "setting the edge"? Especially Kruger, who was supposed to be taking Johnson's role...yeah, not so much.

Any kind of OLB/DE type player that does one or both things well would help this team right now. Kruger has really been unimpressive. Has McPhee even played?

This team has serious issues in the front seven right now, in my opinion. It's what I expected when they lost the guys they lost, Johnson, Redding, etc, compounded by losing Suggs. Bad situation.

I don't view Kruger's play as unimpressive at all. I did wonder where McPhee has been all preseason...

I'd be down for that too if it were possible too, he's a really steady backup

Does that mean the Browns are going with Colt McCoy as their backup? Jeez

I am just not worried about teams trying to run on the Ravens defense. I am very worried about teams being able to pass on the Ravens defense. Even a good secondary needs a solid pass rush in front of them. I'm all for adding another linebacker but he needs to be someone who can get some pressure. Setting the edge is an issue but it's not nearly as big an issue as the lack of pass rushers.
