Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Considine's name on the chopping block. The fact that Omar Brown and Christian Thompson were pretty much the safeties all night long may have sealed Considine's fate. Pretty disappointing. I really thought he could provide decent depth.

Given the concussion issue, I'm not sure Considine is going to be able to play anyway. Definitely, a candidate for IR, then Injury Settlement.

S, like QB, is just going to be one of those spots where if our starter goes down, our backup just won't be anything close to replacing the abilities. I like Thompson and Brown, but both are really green, untested options. Considine hasn't really played better than either of them anyway.

About time. We all thought he had a shot to make the team last year, but was edged out. This year, he was basically a lock after McBean's broken ankle.

Also, Terrence Moore has been cut. No shocker there.

I hated the Considine signing and was slammed here for posting that at the time. Every time he's been given a shot at some significant time on defense he makes mistakes. I'd much rather go with the younger guys. Graham is also a much better special teams player looked solid on defense.

Left my phone at home and at work. I will need to rely on you guys on this thread to keep me posted on this slow Friday. So far both players were expected in my eyes to make it. Wondering if there is an unexpected cut coming up. With the cap situations around the league this time of year, I am watching for a huge name.
