    Camp notes ~ daily updates

On a daily basis we'll be posting Camp Notes drawn from my observations along with those of Aaron Wilson and Kris Jones. We'll post them as links here. Please feel free to comment on them on this thread or if you think it's more appropriate, use one or more as the talking point for a new thread. Let's kick off today with Aaron's piece on Camp Competitions.

Thanks Tony. It's great to have these updates at the top of the board.

Apparently Asa Jackson did a really nice job catching up yesterday. He could end up being a gem at corner.

Sounds like he did a great job covering Streeter. Question is: is it a testament to how good Asa looked or how bad Streeter was?

Haha valid point. Streeter isn't exactly a great route runner right now.

I'll be impressed if Asa can do that against Boldin and Torrey.

Upshaw gets it right the second time; Team crosses fingers on McKinnie's conditioning.

They need to make McKinnie live with Ray Lewis while he's a Raven.

even so, being able to do that against a guy 8" taller than you is impressive. Curious if joe, painter or Taylor were throwing it to him. Honestly in the redzone if that pass is on the money theres noway he should be able to break up a jump ball. especially considering Streeter has a 39 or 40 inch vertical as well.

    One would think.

I dont know, some of those smaller guys can really get up there. All they need to do is get their hands in front of a WR's face and distract him enough to break up his concentration.
