Re: Obama Gives Back MI in Latest RCP EV Update

    Settle down there Big Fella.

All I am saying is that if someone isn't going to post either the internals of the poll or the methodology or both, I am taking it with a grain of salt.

BTW - The poll you posted is the same poll RCP used to move Mich back to toss up.

I must agree with NC. Show me a Rassmussen poll showing the same results and I will pay more serious attention.

Who knows, maybe these polls are correct. It wouldn't surprise me if they were.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/art...ay_115176.html
The Republican National Committee has pounced on new polling data in Michigan and Wisconsin that show President Obama losing ground to Mitt Romney after the latter announced Paul Ryan as his running mate. And in what may -- or may not -- have been a coincidence, Vice President Joe Biden made a pair of campaign stops in Minnesota on Tuesday and will make several more in Michigan today.

Like i said, it was from a DEM site. Everything else was pro OBY.

Here are Karl Rove's comments from last week and Ras has Mitt ahead by +2 today:

    ________________________
Wednesday's Gallup poll had President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney essentially tied, with Mr. Obama at 47% and Mr. Romney at 46%. That's good news for the challenger: Mr. Romney has absorbed a punishing three-month Obama television barrage that drained the incumbent's war chest. Historically, undecided voters tend to break late for the challenger.
    ___________________________

That is what Dick Morris has said for months, that the un-decideds vote for the challenger everytime and he has them giving it to Mitt.

I'm not going to predict it will happen, but I'll give you another state to watch:

Connecticut, I think that one has a descent shot of going Red.

    Certainly possible.

McMahon is surging right now and her message seems to be resonating. Remains to be seen if that will translate into trouble for Obama though.

    What about Akins?

Is he hurting the senate races. Everyone wants him out.

Rush said he meant well but didn't say things right and he didn't want him
out. Rush said if I wanted him gone he'd be gone.

And Rush says he's not the leader of the GOP.

Anyway, Mitt edges OBY in today's Gallup poll.

AP poll narrows OBYs gap to 1 pt. This actually gives
    Mitt the edge.

Gallup has him up by 1. Ras up by 2.

There's some movement here - all in Mitt's favor.

This is interesting. And Kinda goes with what I've been thinking all along, all the rhetoric. ads/ biased media coverage in the world may not save Obama as it won't change what people are living.

A study by the University of Colorado, which has predicted correctly the winner of every presidential race over the last 32 years, is calling this one for Romney with 320 delegates to a paltry 218 delegates for Obama.
