Re: Ravens backup RB situation is shaky
I think AA gets another shot to prove himself
Either next game or the third pre-season game
Maybe he will end up getting cut but he'll have another chance
Not a goner yet

AA is just another one of the 90% of 6th rounders who never made it. No big deal.

Re: Ravens backup RB situation is shaky
I think that is one thing a lot of us are forgetting...AA was a 7th round pick who played FB in an option offense.
I think he is hitting a higher level and he just doesn't have the skillset...he has very poor hands (remember the easy pass he dropped at the end of the Redskins preseason game last year?), he doesn't have any moves and it looks like he doesn't want to take on big guys one on one much.

Re: Ravens backup RB situation is shaky
Oh man Ben Tate is looking good right now, I only wish we had a back up like this guy. If Pierce can be anywhere near as good as Tate, that would be a massive plus for this offense' development.

Re: Ravens backup RB situation is shaky
Well Pierce appears to be back in camp. The Ravens are probably waiting for the 1st rounds of cuts, especially for players the scouting dept may have had their eyes on coming out of college. Is that next cut after this game?
OT: Also Burress in NE for a tryout per reports. Like Brady needs another weapon.
