#3 WR and kicker already decided?
Sounds like it, but man I hope Tucker beats out Cundiff.

Re: #3 WR and kicker already decided?
Cundiff is being challenged by rookie free agent Justin Tucker, who has impressed onlookers with his strong leg and accuracy. But Cundiff believes his maturity gives him a mental edge over Tucker.
“Justin is just a completely different guy. He’s a young kid out of college,” Cundiff said. “The maturity level is completely different than somebody like myself who’s been around. Going on my ninth season, I’ve kind of seen a lot, done a lot, that whole deal. So they have a little more experience with me here.”
I'm so done with Cundiff. 2010 was a fluke year.

Re: #3 WR and kicker already decided?
Actually going into the saturday open practice, I think Tucker only had missed one.
And I know he hit a 62 yarder at the bank saturday.
Right now, I think the main question is, can Tucker continue that in preseason games?
That is his next hurdle.
For Tucker and this competition, it is about these hurdles.
Can he continue to be so good all the way through the preseason game to instill confidence in those making the roster decisions?
In other words, if the Ravens make it back to the AFC championship and need a FG to win, do the decision makers believe Tucker can make that pressure kick? I think that is the only question he has to answer.

Yesterday they had a rushed game tying FG scenario from I think 50 yards and Cundiff missed his.

Yeah, lets hope the coaching staff considers actual game and practice kicks, instead of "intangibles."
I like Cundiff, but at this point, what's the worst that could happen?
Ask yourself this- Would you be disappointed if Tucker finished 28th in the league in FG percent and missed the game tying kick in the AFC Championship game?
Cause that's what Cundiff did last year.

Re: #3 WR and kicker already decided?
I believe Cundiff was 5/7 yesterday.
Tucker was 5/5.

No surprise on Jones, and I'm really rooting for him. Torrey looks to have greatly improved, but I would love another 15-17 YPR guy...and I don't really care if its via 25, 35 or 45 catches.
