Only difference is Clausen was a 3rd round pick I believe.

    New owner J. Haslam's thoughts :
    (1) "We will save money on chalk. We won't have goal lines since the Browns
    never cross it."
    (2) "Since we always pick in the top 10 of the NFL draft, I can leave early and
    have some real fun."
    (3) "My cardiologist says owning the Browns is a good move because I won't have to worry during playoff games."
    (4) "Do Saints fans have the patent on those bags over their heads?"
    (5) "Can I move the team to Baltimore?"
    ... Bc

He went #48 which is about midway into the 2nd round. Weedon would have gone even lower than that if the Browns weren't so desperate

3 winning seasons in 20 years.
That's a record of Angelos proportions. But there's no salary cap in baseball.

Can't wait to hear Mike Polk's take on the sale:

What strikes me now is how vividly I remember watching the draft and seeing his family and friends gathered on live TV as picks were made. Everybody was understandably excited. He was on top of the world. I was even excited (just seeing somebody who worked so hard who was ready to be rewarded). He has worked so hard - what is the percentage of players who get the opportunity to throw a football as a QB in the NFL, like .0001% He deserves a chance somewhere else.

His first question to Holmgren was if Weeden was any good. I think that by him being around Pittburgh all these years, the Browns organization below the owner collectively pooped their pants. That is strictly off of him being around success previously on an part ownership level. Now he is the lead dog.

Seems that Joe Haden may be getting a 4 game suspension for a banned substance.

And Trent Richardson's knee is a concern.

Luckily for the Browns, the other 51 guys on the final roster are outstanding football players... Bc
