California is seeing something similar -- a gulf between two classes; the very rich and the very poor.

The so-called "Blue State" economic model simply does not work. Keynesians, the model most on the left and a good number on the right subscribe, believe money is infinite for the most part, never once considering that the mess over in Europe could ever happen here.

Arrogance and ignorance is never a good combo, especially when the stakes are so high.
