Deonte Thompson
I haven't been on the board as much as usual, and wanted to get an update on this Undrafted Free Agent Wide Receiver. How did he do at mini-camp?

Re: Deonte Thompson
He did great at mini-camp. Opened some eyes with speed. Many posters have pointed out that past wrs starred in mini-camps and against lower competition in preseason games and fizzled when the real games started. With his speed he is certainly one to watch when camp opens.

Re: Deonte Thompson
He killed it.
Really made a case for himself to make the 53.
However, it was in shorts & tees...so, it'll be interesting to see how he does in pads.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Deonte Thompson
Question for you Ravens fans : Is it possible that two UDFAs [LaQuan Williams (2011) and Deonte Thompson (2012)] can force out a 4th round draft choice (who was named by Flacco before the 2011 draft)? That is Tandon Doss... Bc

Re: Deonte Thompson
seeing some florida people calling him 'stone hands' since this news broke out about him in minis. sounds like a good fit! ;) anyway, i'd rather them hang on to streeter because at least he fills a size need.

Re: Deonte Thompson
That is probably a good guess. I am guessing that if Doss does show some potential they are going to want to hold onto him until next year. Smith, Thompson and Streeter are speed guys. Chances are this is Boldin's last year unless he has a great year or restructures his contract.

Re: Deonte Thompson
Thompson has done some good things as a return specialist as well during minicamp and OTA's. Considering that Asa Jackson is also fairly well versed as a return specialist I think that David Reed could likely be given an injury settlement and waived.
That allows them to keep both Streeter and Thompson (assuming Streeter was making the team anyway).Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Could be Baltimore's next Victor Cruz?
