That's what Greta said it comes under the severability part. I said
at the beginning, there are 4 severaility points.

Greta said states don't have to go along with medicare.

The dumb bitch at the top was confused because the wording said
the mandate is not allowable under the commerce act. So she jumped
the gun and said it was thrown it.

She was reading as it went along because then he said it could
    be as a tax.

But the gov't didn't want it as a tax.

So confusing... I'll wait till tomorrow till I try to figure this out.

    They're saying it again.

States don't have to follow the medicare part.

Over 17M people can lose coverage, I think.

It's damn confusing but this sounds like the
dumb Arizona law where they kept the law
but took the teeth out of it.

OBY will be happy but wait til it plays out.

Boner said we will try to repeal it.

Karl Rove just said the same thing. Under the original law the gov't would pick up the first 5 years of medicare costs and then
the states would pay the rest.

But now the court said the states don't have to pay it after 5 years
    at all.

But that is just a small part of it. The rest stands. That's all that matters.

No, it's a big part. Over 17M people can lose coverage if the states
don't pick up medicare after 5 years. Roberts said the congress went too far to make the states pay for it. So it takes some of the teeth out of it.

Same with the mandate tax part. He said it is unconstitutional to have a mandate -period. That's what OBY wanted most and didn't get it but
then Roberts said he can have as a tax.

Soooo, just like we pay a soc sec and medicare tax, we will pay an
    affordable care tax.

CNN just described the courtroom which only had a few select people like Orin Hatch and Michelle Bachman.

Roberts started out like I said saying the mandate was unconstitutional under the commerce act as I shouted out in the beginning in this forum. He kept reading for
    5 mins then boom.

He said the mandate could be used as a tax as it has been done in
two other cases so the precedent was there as far as Roberts was concerned.

Hatches face just dropped to his desk. He just won the primary big
    over the Tea Party candidate.

It's still confusing but that's how I understand it.

So the bimbo at the top was right in what she said but 5 mins
    later it changed.

Everyone on TV is confused and concerned.
One gop is on and said it's like chicken salad
and we'll get rid of it after 7 November.

Dashel the former majority leader from the
Senate likes it and says the people will as they
    see what they get.

The states don't come under Medicade Expansion. Thats
what Roberts said so that's what the gop means it
    chicken salad but still there.

    Just like the Arizona Law.

CNN is saying that IRS will still be able to
tax people that don't get it.

So if I understand this week correctly: If an illegal alien is identified in Arizona, he or she cannot be handed over to the Federal government for deportation. But can he - when this law is fully enacted - be fined for not paying his health care tax?
